Classes Offered

1ST GEAR ADE CLASSROOM COURSE - $10.00

We are a state mandated and approved school providing classroom education for those minimum age 18 to under 25 years old who do not take Teen Drivers Education.  Anyone under 25 years old is required to take either Teen Drivers Education or Adult Drivers Education. However, this course is available to anyone over the age of 18. So what’s the difference? There is NO In-Car Instruction and the class is only 6 hours in length.  Permit test is included.

Our classroom course is ideal for those wanting an interactive learning environment with a licensed instructor.  Here you can ask questions and get immediate answers in a classroom environment filled with powerpoint presentations, videos and real life examples shared by everyone.  Time flies quickly in this class and the idea of leaving that afternoon with your ADE completed is preferred.

Once a month at First Gear Driving School. See  Calendar for class dates offered.  Permit Test and lunch included.   Completion certificate available on the day of class.  After passing the Permit Test, you will leave with the required certificate (ADE-1317) that allows you to either drive test at DPS or apply for a Learners Permit if you need driving lessons.

Take ADE from 1st Gear and save on your drive lessons!  $100.00 per hour for 1st Gear students!
